NTUA team attended the workshops of the project «AI4B: An electronic platform for the utilization of biomass.” The workshops were held on Wednesday 17.6.2015 at 11:00, in the Hall of the Chamber of Larissa and on Thursday 18.6.2015 at 19:00 in the hall of the Chamber of Commerce of Trikala.
The AI4B is an innovative IT infrastructure that aims to contribute to the efficient use of biomass, a renewable energy source with recognized environmental and economic benefits.
Enterprises in all sectors of agricultural and industrial production, can benefit from the possibilities offered by the project AI4B. Registered users in AI4B, were able to register data (quantity, type, location, cost of trafficking etc.) in order to produce or look for biomass, so they can find buyers or sellers respectively, depending on the specifications that they will have set.
