FLEXIZYME Consortium Meeting in Sevilla: Setting the Course for the Next Stage

December 3, 2025

IPSEN NTUA team took part in the two-day FLEXIZYME consortium meeting held in Sevilla on 1–2 December 2024, where project partners gathered to review progress, coordinate upcoming activities, and plan the next phase of the project’s 48-month implementation.

During the meeting, partners presented updates from all Work Packages and aligned their work ahead of the first project review scheduled for 2026. Informal exchanges during breaks and joint meals offered valuable opportunities for discussion and knowledge sharing among the consortium members.

On the second day, the participants visited the facilities of Instituto de la Grasa (CSIC), gaining insight into their work on olive oil processing. The programme continued with sessions dedicated to stakeholder engagement, communication, and an exploitation workshop focused on effectively disseminating—and at the same time protecting—the project’s research results.

IPSEN contributed actively to the discussions on process systems engineering perspectives and participated in the planning of the next project milestones.

We thank our hosts at Instituto de la Grasa for their warm hospitality and our coordinator ITENE for the excellent organisation of the meeting.
