Prof Antonis Kokosis presented with great success the “ALTFUELS@SHIPTYPES” project during “The actions of EKI in the Energy Transition” Information Day, organized by the Energy Competence Center (EKI) on Friday, March 10, 2023 in the “Kavtantzoglou” Ceremony Hall, in the historical complex of NTUA.
The project is funded by EKI and aims to develop a toolbox to assess the feasibility and sustainability of alternative fuel options for ship propulsion systems, under multiple application scenarios. The project consortium is consisted of Academic (School of Chemical and Naval Engineering), Energy (DEPA-Public Gas Corporation of Greece and MOTOROIL) and Maritime Business (Danaos Management Consultant and Hydrus Engineering Ltd.) oriented partners.
