Professor Antonis Kokosis attended the 2015 Stakeholder event which took place on the 8th-9th June at the Sheraton Rogier Hotel in Brussels.
Theme of the event was the PROPELLING SUSTAINABLE CHEMISTRY TO EXCITING NEW FRONTIERS Implementing the New Strategic Innovation and Research Agenda.
At this event the latest news and activities from SusChem National Technology Platforms (NTPs) were presented.
More than 20 leading SMEs, from across Europe, were looking to connect to industrial partners and investors presented their elevator pitches in these three fields:
- ICT for chemical and bio-tech processes
- Eco-innovation technologies
- Advanced materials and nano-technologies
The aim of this workshop was to facilitate the development of new partnerships and to start building the bridges needed to foster successful collaborations between SMEs and big chemical companies.
