The whole RESYNTEX consortium joined for a meeting of its General Assembly and Executive Board across 22-24 June. Taking place in Vouliagmeni near Athens, Greece, the meeting was the first time all partners have met since last year’s kick-off meeting.
The three-day programme included workshops on a range of topics, such as life cycle analysis (LCA) of textiles, process development and exploitation of research data.
“The meeting was a collaborative success!” said Arnaud Dauriat, Managing Director of Quantis Lausanne. “Quantis was proud to contribute to this positive dynamic by leading a workshop with our Life Cycle Perception business game. The game allowed the participants to gain a deeper understanding, based on an interactive process, of how systemic thinking and LCA can be used to optimise the RESYNTEX system from an environmental perspective.”
With two and half years of innovative research still to come, there was much to present and discuss. Participants also included the project’s External Expert Advisory Board (EEAB). Arun Aneja, Secretary General of the EEAB said, “If the planning was sound, the execution is brilliant. A great performance by Team RESYNTEX.”
